World Mission Sunday is an annual global celebration within the Catholic Church, observed on the second to last Sunday of October. This special day is dedicated to the support of the missionary work of the Church through prayer and sacrifices.
On Sunday, October 18, 2026 unite with all Catholics by praying for our brothers and sisters around the world. At any Archdiocese of Los Angeles parish, prayerfully consider giving a donation for the missions. This year Pope Leo XIV declared “One in Christ, United in Mission“ to be the theme for World Mission Sunday.
